BIOGRAPHY

21 year old Cassianne Lawrence grew up in the district of Bodden Town. She's a bit of a tomboy as she loves to play various sports in her spare time including basketball and soccer. At the age of 14 she was the youngest player to ever make the Women's National Basketbal Team and was sent to Gibraltar where she brought back a gold medal for the Island Games. She is also extremely passionate about modeling and hopes to take it to new highs in the Cayman Islands after pursuing it overseas. She would like to gain more knowledge and exposure so that she can pass her skills on to other talents here on island.

Cassianne has chosen the The Cayman Islands Cancer Society as her platform because of her past experiences and increased awareness of the fact that cancer does not discriminate against age colour or creed. Cancer is a silent killer and early detection can help save lives. CICS offers education, information about cancer, preventative care, financial assistance, screenings and counselling to those who are affected by cancer.
